Add Youtube params to video

I would like to have the video to start after 34 seconds.
On youtube I would do something like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=<MY_VIDEO_ID>&start=34 but if I add &start=34 or ?start=34 to the url but once saved, the screen says there are wrong params.

Is there a way to pass the “start” parameter to the Youtube player ?
