Hi,
After struggling with a problem related to the WooCommerce Page Builder for Avada, I stood up a vanilla install of Avada 7.1 and WooCommerce 4.7.
One of Avada’s premium features is the Layouts Builder. This feature allows developers to define one or more page layout templates. Each template consists of a Header section, Title section, Content section and Footer section. These templates can then be assigned to one or more pages/types. The first template becomes the default for every page unless a further template is created and assigned to that page type.
With your plugin activated, but NO Avada Layouts created – the WooCommerce pages for my-account, dashboards, orders, downloads, addresses, logout, etc, all look and function as expected. However, once a single Avada Layout is created (being global in it’s application), the aforementioned pages (my-account, dashboard, etc), all end up with the original page content repeated down the web page multiple times. In fact, none of the content or styles specified within the layout template will show up. It is as if the WooCommerce Page Builder for Avada automatically ‘detects’ the 4 sections of the Avada Layouts template and simply inserts the default WooCommerce short-code for the respective page; my-account, orders, addresses, etc.
The number of times the WooCommerce short-code is rendered within the page appears to be directly proportional to the number of sections edited within the layout template, even if the section doesn’t contain anything.
I appreciate the plugin is a Page Builder For Avada, but having been made/sold FOR Avada, one would not expect it to stop working or cause such issues when used in conjunction with one of the premium features of Avada.
Can you advise me if there is a work around or fix – or maybe I’m missing something?
Kind regards
Stephen
