Backend editor doesn't work anymore

My backend editor hasn’t worked for a few weeks now. I only see the code and can no longer switch to the Page Builder view.

So far I haven’t had to change anything, but now I have to move a few fields. How can I reset the Page Builder view? The “Backend Editor” button does not work.

Why is that?
