Hi.
I’m using Version 1.1.2.3 of the WooCommerce Page Builder For Avada. My objective is to create a store with a hierarchy of product categories and sub-categories. Products are only located within the last category of any path.E.g.
Cat 1
—– Cat 1.1
————-Cat 1.1.2
——————Product 1
——————Product 2
——————Product 3
Cat 2
—– Cat 2.1
———-Product 4
———-Product 5
etc.Basically each category is either a category of one or more sub categories, OR a category that only contains products. There are no categories that contain both products and sub-categories.
Using the Archive Builder, I have created a template for traversing the nested categories, however, when I get to the last category (the one containing products), I now want to show ONLY the products associated with this category. I assumed I could have done this using a new Archive Builder template employing the Woo Products element, and assigned this template to the last categories within the taxonomy. However, there is no option for to show Products In This Category. There are options for Latest Products, On Sale, Best Selling, Featured, Top Rated and Manual Selection.
The Manual Selection allows one to enter a list of product IDs, but for the site being created, this isn’t feasible nor would it work with the template being used for multiple end points (categories) in the hierarchy.
I’d be ever so grateful if you could advise me how to use Archive Builder template feature to create a template that will only show the products within the category at which the template is employed.
Kind regards and best wishes to your developer that has been unwell due to Covid.
