Layout issues

Hi-
I am trying to style my category pages and having issues with layout. If I add elements to the page, the elements are not respecting space the same way as te Product Archive Loop. Something is strange with my header and the page layout for archive pages. I’ve attached 3 examples:
Gray line below header is respected by Product Archive loop but not respected by widget sidebar. If I add a title above the Product Archive loop, it is pushed up above the gray line. Does this gray line belong to the Product Archive loop or what? What I want is to add a title above the Product Archive Loop, under the gray line and keeping the side bar where it is.

Here- my product filter in side bar from Woo Commerce Product Filter is not visible at all.
