Registration on a staging site failing

Hi.
I am trying to register the plugin on my staging site but it keeps coming back with the invalid token notification. If I install the plugin on my live site it registers just fine with the same token. (I have removed registration on the live site when trying to register on the staging site).

Is there any restriction on registering on a staging site or something different I need to be doing?
