video slider not appearing; remove "view"

Hi, there seems to be a bug on the element shortcodes > video slider. When I left the cetegories field blank it appears on the homepage, however when I select a particular category, it just disappeared from the homepage (please see screenshot attached). Please check and advise.

Second, is there any way to remove the “view” and “comment” below the video for now (please see screenshot attached)?
