Video views count on ajax?

I tried to use an optimizing and caching plugin WP Rocket, but the video views count does not work if the cashing is enabled. I got this response from them:

“I have checked your site this morning and I can see that your counter is part of the HTML of the page – this means that the data is updated by PHP.

For this to be compatible with full-page caching the counter would need to be loaded by AJAX. This is because full-page caching will bypass PHP and WordPress from being loaded – therefore the number will only be updated when the cache is regenerated.

You should check to see if this is an option within the plugin or theme that handles the counter for you. If it isn’t then you should reach out to the developer to discuss loading the data via AJAX so that it is compatible with caching.”

Is there a way for this to be done?
