First, I have check with your original checkout page (not assign the template) and I see it not working fine. It always loading now. See the screenshot I show you.
And with the template, the checkout page, cart page, my account page is a form. You can’t add any form for this page. Please remove the form in the template Checkout and assign it when your original checkout page working fine. (See the screenshot)
Also, I have imported the demo “Checkout Layout #1”, please see how it works.
We have enabled the WPBakery Page Builder (backend editor) for our template post types by default (automatically). Even we have disable it in the WPBakery Page Builder Settings / Role Manager, it always auto loaded but I don’t know it not work on your site. I have just shown the templates in the Role Manager in WPBakery Page Builder Settings (see the screenshot) and enable it manually.
I have just checked on your site and seem this is an issue on your theme. Have you tested with another theme? Please see the screenshot I show you, the plugin working fine with the latest version of WP 5.8.3 and the WPBakery Page Builder is already updated to 6.8.0.
Also, please try to clear all the caching on your site, on your server hosting… and check with another theme.

The Events List widget is already loading the events order by “event_date” (Start Date). Please see the screenshot I show you.
Seem there is an issue with the latest version. Could you please give us an administrator account (via private reply) so I can update this fix directly on your site and then we will update this fix in the next version of this theme.

Please see the screenshot I show you. I don’t know why with the update version of WPBakery Page Builder, we have 2 checkbox for WPBakery Page Builder. But please try to enable all and see it work or not. And it work for me.
